fit12 Program

The Problem
Hectic lifestyles have led to laziness and quick fixes in all walks of our lives. Our bodies were designed to function in a certain way, but it can also adapt to the environment and stresses you put on it. The result has been building for years and has expanded waistlines and healthcare costs.

So what is health? You could define health as the absence of disease or body fat. That is part of the definition, but to be truly healthy, all of the body’s processes are functioning at maximum efficiency. A body that is functioning at maximum efficiency will not allow disease to exist in it, does not see the need to store fat and will output energy on demand. It isn’t sluggish or lazy; it’s productive, positive and focused.

A body that is fighting to survive in its environment (like the average overweight person) breeds sickness, disease and is sluggish. This body affects ones ability to perform physically, mentally and emotionally. Being in poor health and out of shape affects the mental frame and productivity at work and in all aspects of daily life.

A George Washington University study found the annual cost of being obese is $4,879 for a woman and $2,646 for a man.

The issue is not only that people eat too much and don’t exercise; it’s much deeper than that. It’s time to change the way we think.

Our Approach
Curing this epidemic isn’t going to happen by suggesting you simply take the stairs, eat less or start running. These ideas yield temporary results to a deep-rooted problem. If you want to loose weight you have to change the way you think about getting and staying healthy as well as how you go about doing it.

Fit12 is designed to not only transform your body, but to educate and develop healthy patterns that transition you from being “on a program” to living a new lifestyle that is engrained in who you are. Once that happens, the fitness lifestyle goes from being a task or chore to being the way you live. It becomes effortless and life lasting.

There is two aspects involved when getting anyone in shape: the physical aspect – personal training, program design and measurements, and the mental/emotional aspect – the process and mindset to carry out the program. Both must be included in any wellness program otherwise it will be a waste of time and money, yielding weak results. The Fit12 transformation program focuses on four areas to insure these two aspects are fulfilled effectively and produce life-lasting results: Physical Training, Education, Emotional/Lifestyle Support and Daily Troubleshooting.

The fit12 Program
The fit12 program is divided into three, four-week phases. Each builds on the previous phase and further alters your mindset and revs up your body’s metabolism for long-last weight loss.

Throughout the entire 12-week program you are guided through workouts and taught how to eat more and lose weight while enjoying a wide-variety of foods. You’ll receive the support and guidance needed to break through the mental and emotional roadblocks that arise.

The fit12 program is designed to evolve you into fit and healthy person who is no longer encumbered by the limitations of your overweight body. You will have a new appreciation for health and a new perspective on diet and exercise. Most importantly, you will have begun habits that will continue to improve your health for the rest of your life.
